The 33mm Floor
Jordan starts one millimetre above the usual ICAO band.
Jordan's published requirement is a head height of at least 33mm inside the 35x45mm frame, measured from the bottom of your chin to the top of your hair. Most ICAO-style guidance — the Schengen band, for instance — opens at 32mm.
One millimetre sounds like nothing, but it is the difference between a photo built to the generic minimum and one built to Jordan's. If you reuse a Schengen-sized photo cropped right at the floor, you can land just under. The guide on this page is set so the smallest head it accepts is comfortably inside Jordan's requirement.
The upper end is bounded by the frame: your head should still leave roughly 4mm of clearance above the hair, which puts the practical ceiling around 36mm.
