Unlike most applications that need just one photo, NEET requires both a 3.5cm x 4.5cm 'passport size' photo and a separate 4-inch x 6-inch 'postcard size' photo. NTA requires roughly 80% face coverage in the frame, both ears clearly visible, and a neutral expression. The photo must be recent — check the current year's NEET information bulletin for the exact 'photo taken on or after' date, as this changes every year.

File Format & Size

Scanned photos must fit a narrow file size range.

Digital uploads must be JPG or JPEG format, between 10KB and 200KB. Files that are too large or too small are automatically rejected by the online application portal, so it's worth checking the exact file size before submitting.
