생체 인식을 위한 올바른 표정 가이드.
쉥겐 비자 사진에서는 완전히 중립적인 표정(무표정)을 유지해야 합니다. 입은 굳게 다물어야 하며 치아가 보여서는 안 됩니다. 아주 옅은 미소라도 안면 근육을 왜곡시켜 생체 인식 소프트웨어의 오류를 유발할 수 있습니다.
카메라를 정면으로 응시하세요. 고개를 기울이거나 돌려서는 안 됩니다. 머리카락이 눈썹이나 눈을 조금이라도 가려서는 안 되며, 얼굴의 좌우 윤곽이 모두 선명하게 드러나야 합니다.
그림자 없는 선명한 사진을 위한 조건.
배경은 균일하고 밝은 색상이어야 하며, 연한 회색(Light Grey)이 가장 권장됩니다. 패턴이 있거나 어두운 배경은 사용할 수 없습니다. 흰색 옷을 입어 배경과 구분이 되지 않는 상황(어깨선 소실)을 피하세요.
조명은 얼굴 전체에 고르게 비춰져야 합니다. 눈 주위, 코 밑, 또는 머리 뒤 배경에 그림자가 생기면 안 됩니다. 플래시로 인한 적목 현상이나 피부 번들거림이 없도록 주의하세요.
안경과 모자 착용에 대한 엄격한 규정.
규정상 안경 착용은 가능하면 피하는 것이 좋습니다. 안경 렌즈의 빛 반사나 두꺼운 테가 눈동자를 가릴 경우 심사가 거절됩니다. 선글라스나 색안경은 절대 착용할 수 없습니다.
종교적인 이유를 제외하고는 모자나 머리 장신구를 착용할 수 없습니다. 종교적 이유로 착용하더라도, 턱 끝부터 이마 끝까지 얼굴 전체가 그림자 없이 완전히 보여야 합니다. 제복(군복 등) 착용은 피하고 평상복을 입으세요.
